Denver's high plains desert climate is delightful. Low humidity and lots of sunshine make living in Colorado a real pleasure. In the summer when the temperature is high in the daytime, the nights cool down, offering a welcome relief to the heat. Beginning each new morning with a cool temperature, in many cases eliminates the need for air conditioning 24/7.
Denver recieves most of it's precipitation in the spring. Long bouts of days on end rain are not common. Umbrellas are not a big commodity here!
Denver is located close to the mountains, but not in the mountains. Because of the close proximity, many people assume that Denver recieves a lot of snow. This is not true! On average Denver gets less than 5 feet a snow per year. Now that may seem like a large amount, but the fact is the snow comes one day and the sun comes out the next to melt it! Seldom does snow stick on the ground for the season.
Denver has much to offer, attracting a younger population.
