It’s almost summer and I don’t know about you, but one of the things that I most enjoy this time of year is picnicking with friends and some great music! So here’s your list of the many free outdoor concerts going on around town. Get that picnic gear ready and maybe we’ll see you there!
City Park Jazz Series 2010 – Sunday evenings throughout the summer. All concerts are from 6:00-8:00pm at the Bandstand/Pavillion in Denver’s City Park, rain or shine!
June 6th – Jon Romero y Amanecer
June 13th – The O-Tone Brass Band
June 20th – Hazel Miller (this is an incredibly popular concert so get there early!)
June 27th – Manuel Lopez Trio
July 4th – Denver Municipal Band
July 11th – Chris Daniel and the Kings
July 18th – Rekha Odal
July 25th – Cocktail Revolution
August 1st – La Candela

Confluence Concerts 2010 – Thursday evenings, 6:30-8:00pm at Confluence Park which is located at 15th and Little Raven in LoDo.

July 15th – The Red Sax Quartet
July 22nd – The Informants
Skyline Park in downtown Denver will be offering free, lunchtime concerts by the Colorado Symphony this summer. I can’t find the 2010 schedule yet so check back soon for more details.
Elways in Cherry Creek – No picnic baskets allowed at this one but the music is fantastic and admission is free! The patio area opens at 5:00 and the bands start at 6:30pm and roll until 9:00’ish.
