by Vali Hooker on July 22, 2010

in 90 Days of Denver Summer

Friday, July 23rd – Tomorrow Night – is PechaKucha Night Denver projected outside on the DAM Hamilton Building in the Lanny Martin Plaza.  Bring your own chair and come enjoy a little PechaKucha which will be presented by a luchador — and in my mind anything presented by a luchador is worth seeing!

Devised and shared by Klein Dytham architecture

What is PechaKucha you ask?

PechaKucha 20×20 is a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images forward automatically and you talk along to the images.www.pecha-kucha.org

Why?

PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. www.pecha-kucha.org

What are PechaKucha Nights?

PechaKucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works, thoughts, holiday snaps – just about anything really, in the PechaKucha 20×20 format. www.pecha-kucha.org

So are you game?  We are going to bike on down and see what the hype is about – show starts at dusk (8:20 – 10 PM) and bring your own chair.  Admission FREE/$5 donation.  Deluxe’s Little Orange Rocket will be there slinging gourmet bites. For all the details please visit PechaKucha Night Denver.
