I’m sure many of you are quite familiar with Wash Park and have gone running, played volleyball, rented a padddle boat or just hung out with friends. It is definitely one of the best parks in Denver! And the West Wash Park neighborhood is one of the hot, up and coming, neighborhoods and the home tour this Saturday will give you a glimpse as to why. The West Wash Park home tour will showcase 6 homes that span 125 years of construction. Among the six featured homes is 627 South Corona St which was built in 1873. This home was one of three original Victorian style farm houses built on the west side of Wash Park. Right next door is another home that will be showcased, 629 South Corona, that was built in 2008 and won the 2009 Denver Metro Builders C.A.R.E. award for infill construction. This is just a sample of homes that you can view and there will be 4 other homes open for you to take a look at on Saturday. The tour will include older, renovated homes as well as newer construction.
Tickets are $15 and are available at Lincoln Elementary School (715 S. Pearl St.) from 9:00 to 3:00 or the Washington Street Community Center (809 S. Washington) from 9:00 to 5:00pm. You may also purchase tickets the day of the event at any of the homes on the tour.
If you are thinking about making a move and are interested in your own home tour of West Wash Park or any other neighborhood, please give the Loft Chicks a call!
Loving life in Wash Park and in Denver!
